With east - and southeast- facing vineyards, Capalot is located in the village of Gasprina within the menzione geografica also called Capalot at 300-310 MASL.
It borders on the road that leads from the frazione of Santa Maria to La Morra. Its soils have a similar composition as that of Bricco Chiesa.
